Learning Disabilities

Learning Disabilities

A learning disability is related to how a person’s brain works.

It can make it harder for someone to learn, understand, or do everyday things—like making friends, managing money, or doing jobs at home.

People with a learning disability may need more time to learn new things. They might also need support to understand difficult information or communicate with others.

With the right support, many people with a learning disability  can live independently and lead fulfilling lives.

SortedSupported is available in Easy Read so that people can read about different mental health and wellbeing topics.
